Inspired to be Part of the Solution

Mr. Matthews, IV, fell behind on his utility payments and received a turn-off notice.   After navigating numerous community action agencies, he connected with the Fuel Fund.

Upon receiving bill assistance through the Fuel Fund, he participated in our Watt Watchers® educational program where he learned how he could reduce his energy consumption and save money. Not only was he given a “fresh start” on his utility bill, he was also inspired to take control of his home energy usage.

“The resources that I was given (Watt Watchers® ) have made me extremely mindful of the energy that I consume now.  I am inspired to be part of the solution now.  This is a brand new start for me,” said Mr. Matthews.
